摘要：
Video surveillance is a hot research and application direction of computer vision which developed in recent years. To apply face recognition technology in video surveillance system is not an easy task because it's affect by illumination, noise and human face poses. In this paper, we propose an intelligent video monitoring system based on face detection and recognition technology, including video image acquisition, image preprocessing, face image detection and face image recognition.
