Development of solvent extraction processes for production of high purity oxides of molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium

摘要
In view of growing demand for high purity refractory metals viz. molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium in nuclear, electronics, aerospace, defence and other high tech applications, solved extraction processes have been developed for their extraction from indigenous sources. Taking advantage of strong similarity in the aqueous chemistry of these metals, all the processes developed are based on alamine 336 as an extractant and ammonia solution as a stripping reagent.
