摘要
Polylactide-low density polyethylene binary blends were obtained in various ratios. The phase transition temperatures in the starting mixtures and after UV irradiation were determined by differential scanning calorimetry. After UV irradiation for 50 h, the melting point of polylactide decreased from 165 to 153 degrees C, while the thermophysical characteristics of polyethylene changed insignificantly. The structure was monitored by IR spectroscopy during photodegradation. The most probable mechanism for the decomposition of polylactide with C=C bond formation corresponding to the 1654 cm(-1) peak in the IR spectrum was proposed.
