Durability of geosynthetics under agents present in landfills

摘要：
This paper studies the behaviour of geosynthetics under agents present in landfills. Two HDPE geomembranes and two PP nonwoven geotextiles were submitted to weathering and leachate in a USW landfill in exploration in the North of Portugal. The influence of temperature was studied in the laboratory. Geosynthetics and leachate characteristics and weather conditions during the exposure periods will be described. The behaviour of the geosynthetics during them will be analysed in terms of variation of tensile and static puncture resistances.
