Quantum dynamics of a three-level system controlled by two coherent CW lasers

摘要：
We investigate a method to control the quantum dynamics of a three-level system by adjusting the intensities, phases, and detunings of two single-mode cw lasers. The time-independent probability for finding the system in a particular eigenstate is proven to reach 100% when the parameters of the lasers are adequately controlled. The stability of the process for the variations of the parameters is also analyzed.
