摘要
Preventing and managing toxoplasmosis in pregnant women. Toxoplasmosis is caused by a cosmopolitan parasite whose definitive host is a felid. Toxoplasma gondii can be transmitted to humans through undercooked or raw meat, fruits, vegetables, water, or soiled soil, and can cause severe infections in immunocompromised patients and pregnant women. During pregnancy, a woman should follow preventive measures if she is HIV-negative and receive appropriate management to limit fetal damage if she is infected. (c) 2021 Elsevier Masson SAS.
