摘要：
This paper presents a case study of an Information Systems Management Research Center (ISMRC). Emphasis is on the center's genesis and on the multi-faceted character of the ISMRC and outcomes of its various initiatives. It is expected this paper will be of interest to research small groups aspiring to center status. Additionally, the paper presents a sample format for center status reporting and may serve as a useful benchmark.
