摘要
We have designed, fabricated and tested an improved resistive amplification network for photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) resulting in high gain and fast rise time without the ringing usually associated with pulses with short decay times. Although the design is optimized for the Thorn EMI 9807B PMT, and its equivalent from other makes, the principle can be easily extended for many different types of photomultiplier tubes.
