the principle and high-speed algorithm for hyperbolic radio-location in digital cellular networks

摘要
In this paper, a integrated approach to achieve a radio-location function in the wireless digital cellular network is introduced, through the using of Time Difference Of Arrival(TDOA) estimation between the multiple base station's receivers, we may construct a set of nonlinear hyperbolic position location equations. The Taylor-series expanding is utilized to simplify these equations, we are able to get the solutions of them by an iterative method which is proper to finished in a DSP system. A new type of procedure to implement the radio-location by the use of reverse link is proposed, this will provide a foundation to design a new protocol for this special application in the digital cellular network in the future.
