摘要：
In this summary of the discussion on the roles of supervisors and netting for market discipline, we place the issues in a broader context as to what they mean for the financial industry. We then discuss certain attributes and perceived shortcomings of Bergman, Bliss, Johnson and Kaufman (2003), Emmons (2003), Hall, King, Meyer and Vaughan (2003), and O'Keefe, Olin and Richardson (2003). Recommendations for future research efforts are also offered.
