摘要
A 3D numerical model is used to calculate the transportation of suspended particulate matter(SPM) in the Bohai Sea. This is a particle model and the diffusion process is simulated by a random walking method. The bottom process is considered in two ways. One is very simple and the other is complicated. The simulation time is from January to August 1982. The results show that the SPM concentration in spring in Bohai Sea is higher than that in summer. The SPM coming from Yellow River mainly stays near the river mouth. But there are still two branches extending to the Bohai Gulf and the Laizhou Gulf. The latter branch goes through Bohai Strait finally.
