摘要
Mechanism of action of laser radiation can easily be understood on the basis of molecular biology and bioelectronics. It is also essential to know about the intercellular space (IS) and laws of the function of so-called matrix. The author has considered the 25 mW laser more appropriate for the treatment of small animals (dogs, cats) and the 35 mW laser for large animals (horses, cattle, pig). Use of soft laser has three main large possibilities of application. One is the laser therapy with direct laser radiation when the pathologic tissues (superficial wounds, haematomas) are treated direct by the laser ray. The second is the laser radiation by a fiber optic when more deep (not superficial), zigzagged, drained wound or pathological processes are treated. The third is the laser acupuncture when the adequately focused laser rays are directed to acupunctural points. Healing of wounds can be accelerated and helped by laser therapy (plantar ulcers in cats, nipple abscess in cats, othaematoma in dogs, skin papilloma in dogs, oedematic, drained wounds of dogs, melanoma in the ear of a mare, haematoma in a cow, acute tendovaginitis in horses). It has an especially good effect on the recovery of haematomas and alleviation of pain. In the latter case, the results are better when it is combined with laser puncture. The author has applied the laser puncture in case of the diseases of all organic systems (ovarial atrophy of mares, obstipation of foals and sows, etc.) and the indications have been determined. In case of chronic diseases with lame, the acupuncture carried out by needles was found more effective. Finally, it has been pointed out that many applications arise for the use of soft laser both in case of research and in the treatment of sick animals.
