摘要
This study investigated the impact of Aerobics on quality of life, self satisfaction and body self-image in female college students. We validated the relationship between body image (BI) and body mass index (BMI). The study included 323 female college students, 210 of whom had been practicing aerobics for at least six months (18-22 years), and 113 other college girls (19-23 years old) who did not exercise regularly. The result shows that compared with female students who do not practice aerobics, the female students who exercise aerobics are obviously more satisfied with their body image satisfaction (BISL). There was a marked improvement in their quality of life. There is a significant positive correlation between body image (BI) and body mass index (BMI). Therefore, aerobics may be an option for female college students to improve their quality of life and physical satisfaction.
