Scheduling tasks onto multiprocessors using particle swarm optimization

摘要
The problem of scheduling the tasks to multiprocessors has been proven to be NP-complete even NP-hard. Consequently, heuristics are usually used to tackle this intricate problem. In this paper, we employ a novel population-base search technique, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), in list scheduling. The experiment results show that the TSPSO has good performance.
