摘要
The mixture of de-ionized water and ethanol was used as the solvent to disperse SiC particles. The SiC particles could be well dispersed in alkaline aqueous ethanol solution at the pH value of 9 and 10. The use of polyethylene glycol (PEG) as the dispersant could improve the dispersity of the SiC slurry. The distribution of polyethylene glycol (PEG) in the SiC slurry was measured by thermal gravimetric(TG)and differential thermal analysis(DTA)in argon. The adsorption of PEG on the surface of SiC decreased with the increase of pH value, with most of free dispersant remained in the suspension at a higher pH value. The granular SiC sprayed from the stable 40wt% slurries were chemically homogenous of well fluidity.
