摘要
In the ITS (Intelligent Transport System), vehicle-to-vehicle communication to exchange information between vehicles and vehicle-to-road communication connecting vehicles and fixed network systems are important. The use of millimeter waves for vehicle-to-vehicle communication is being discussed. In this paper, in connection with vehicle-to-vehicle communication using millimeter waves, fundamental studies of fading due to road surface reflection, which is considered the most severe cause of degradation of radio wave propagation, are carried out. In addition, a quantitative evaluation of the effect of space diversity as a countermeasure for degradation of propagation is performed. (C) 2001 Scripta Technica.
