摘要
Buildings consume a large portion of the world's energy and it is thus crucial to improve their energy efficiency. This paper presents a cloud-based control scheme for water loop heat pump system in building applications. An intelligent control system that improves the operation efficiency of the water loop heat pump system using parallel asynchronous particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed. The control system employs a cloud utility service to perform the computing task. The energy efficiency and computational time of the proposed control strategy are evaluated in this study. This paper also discusses the vulnerability of the cloud service and evaluates the control system performance in the presence of probable cloud service failures and cyberattacks.
