摘要
On railway environments, the millimeter wave communications have potential to achieve huge communication capacity and so that is expected to be utilized in new communication services. However, the radio propagation performances of millimeter wave communications on railway environments are not fully analyzed to install millimeter wave communication systems. In this paper, we introduce how to use the millimeter wave communications on railway environments and also show the results of the field test on Shinkansen environment with the prototype millimeter wave transceivers. As results of the test, we mention the possibility of the millimeter wave systems for railway.
