摘要
This paper presents a study of a spherical helical antenna. Just like other helical antennas, this type of antenna designed with a ground plane and fed by coaxial cable has performed better than conventional helical antennas. It has been shown that the input impedance of the spherical helical antenna designed to cover the L band can be easily matched, has a good return loss along the band and has a good VSWR characteristic. It has been shown that it has circular polarization due to its low axial ratio.
