摘要
Recently investigated magneto-optic materials exhibit large magneto-optic Kerr rotation at low temperatures. Current research focuses on materials that have a large magneto-optic Kerr rotation at room temperatures in order to be viable recording media in the future. The present paper introduces a quick and reliable method to investigate the magneto-optical properties of pure metals (Fe, Ni, Co) and arsenic doped CuCr2Se4 and reports the results in the 1.84eV to 2.54eV (671.4 nm to 488 nm wavelength) range.
