Data on manufacture of chemical fibres in the world, Russia, and CIS countries are reported. The characteristics of the evolution of chemical fibre production are analyzed. The processes. that take place in the world chemical fibre economic structure are described - differentiation, integration, globalization, and geographic regionalization.
