摘要
The mechanism of enzymatic modification of the aspen SGW pulp fiber was studied. The crystallinity index (CrI) of the fiber increased gradually and the average dimensions of the cellulose crystallite had only slight decrease during the enzymatic hydrolysis, while the enzymatic hydrolysis resulted in little change in the value of degree of polymerization (DP) of cellulose and the fiber length. The results indicated that the enzymatic hydrolysis had the peeling effect on the surface of the fiber. The enzymatic hydrolysis produced a "peeling effect" on the surface of the fiber. The effect was a consequence of the hydrolysis of the amorphous cellulose and hemicellulose, and fibrillation on the surface of the fiber. The results showed that the effect reduced the hydration of the fiber, and improved the drainage property prominentyly.
