摘要：
In this article, we rationalize the relevance of the special issue's theme for the 2018 Politics of Education Association's special issue of Educational Policythe politics of unions and collective bargaining in education. Furthermore, we provide an overview of the structure of the special issue and brief summaries of the articles accepted for publication therein. We conclude with a discussion of the broad implications of these articles for education policy.
