摘要
In this communication we shall present the entire inventory of battle weapons that were used during Middle Ages in Romanian territories, then we shall make a description of the "referents" and the terms used to designate them. We shall point out the etymology of the lexemes we are interested in and the consequences deriving from it (the pathway through which they entered the Romanian countries and the possible period in which they were adopted by Romanian armies), also the differences between the weapons used here and the ones used in other parts of Europe (if it is possible, we shall see what happened in the entire world) (if such differences exist, then we shall observe the impact on translations).
