摘要
Enterprise modelling is a step-by-step collaborative process to create the visualized representation of concerned enterprise systems. The quality and efficiency of modelling projects are crucial for the success of following enterprise Business Process Reengineering projects. During recent decades much research have been carried out on enterprise modelling, but most of them concentrate on the modelling techniques and tools, instead of the supporting systems for modelling projects. This paper describes the authors' idea of introducing knowledge management and team collaboration functions into the supporting systems for enterprise modelling projects. The development of an information and collaboration portal for modelling project teams is depicted in detail to demonstrate this idea. With the support of such an information and collaboration portal, the quality and efficiency of enterprise modelling projects will be improved-profoundly.
