A new species of whitefly, Aleuropleurocelus eriogonum Carapia-Ruiz sp. nov., was found at Tijuana, Baja California, on leaves of Erionogum fasciculatum Benth. Microphotographs of morphological structures of the puparia are provided, and separation from other related species of Aleuropleurocelus are discussed. New records for Baja California, Mexico, of A. laingi Drews and Sampson on Salvia apiana Jeps. and A. coachellensis Drews and Sampson on Pluchea sericea (Nutt.) are provided.
