A new vehicle dynamic weighing based on TPMS

摘要
A new vehicle dynamic weighing based on TPMS is proposed. TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) is mainly used in real time detection of tire pressure. At the same time it can signal the air leak alert and abnormal pressure high or low to keep vehicle safe during driving. And simultaneously this method estimates vehicle weight according to tire pressure detected by TPMS and tire distortion. Moreover the algorithm for estimating tire distortion is studied and the analysis of its error is researched. Compared with conventional weighing technology the new vehicle dynamic weighing has many advantages such as high efficiency, cost effective, convenient installation and maintenance, saving lots of time and labors. Furthermore the whole process of vehicle dynamic weighing won't block and influence the traffic anymore.
