The research on manufacturing enterprises product process data integration based on XML

In manufacturing enterprises, process information is an important portion of product engineering information., it is a bridge of engineering design system and ERP system. In integration environment, process data which created by CAPP(computer aided process planning) system must meet the requirement of integration and share with other computer application systems. All process data in product's lifecycle must realize effective integration and share. In networked manufacturing environment. the integration and share of process data between enterprises is a key problem also. Based on the development of a CAPP system supported by 863/CIMS in China, a object-oriented CAPP information modeling method is put forward. Based on this model,the product process data integration scheme, PPDML (product process data makeup language), mapping rules of PPDML and information model are presented in detail.
