摘要
We know that the size of section of arch dam is smaller than the other kinds of dam, but the size of section of arch darn is still bigger. The construction of arch darn is difficult, the structure feature is complex, the time for completion is long, and the investment is great. This paper designs a new kind of arch dam: arch dam of concrete filled into steel tube. This kind of arch dam fully utilizes advantages of concrete filled into steel tube. This paper analyses advantages of arch dam of concrete filled into steel tube: the force is definite, the calculation is simple, the construction is convenient, the time for completion is short, the effect of hydration heat is small, the synthesize benefit is notable. When this paper analyses feasibility of this kind of arch dam, this paper also forwards some problems that need further to study.
