Numerical simulation of tidal and thermohaline circulation of the waters of the White Sea

摘要
A conservative numerical model for description of within seasonal variability of hydrophysical fields of White Sea with the resolution of synoptic spatio-temporal scales is presented. It is assumed that the model would constitute a dynamic block of more general scheme of four-dimensional analysis of measured data in the White Sea, that needs adequate resolution of transients, and also the processes of resonance interaction of powerful tidal wave, entering White Sea with the hydrophysical fields in the basin of White Sea as such. A refusal of the usage of traditional condition of ''rigid cap'' and formulation of the boundary conditions on the liquid boundary on the basis of the condition of a free emanation follows from this. When constructing finite-difference scheme of the model a grid C, most adapted for description of wave processes with the spatial resolution scale that is lower than Rossbi baroclinic radius of deformation [2-4]. The results of approbation of the model when modelling tidal currents, and also by means of the solution of the so called diagnostic problem with the process of model adaptation of the obtained results.
