摘要
A control volume-finite element method for determining two dimensional transient temperature distributions in components of complex shape is presented. Basic heat balance equations are derived for linear interpolation of temperature inside of triangular finite elements. Temperature-dependant thermal properties of the material were accounted for. The method was applied to calculate transient temperature distributions in the cross sections of the platen superheater tubes. The temperatures in nodes obtained for the coarse grid agree very well with the results obtained by using the ANSYS software. The method proposed in the paper is very effective and simple and can be used for determination of transient temperature distributions in components of steam boilers with complex shape. The developed method can be used for modeling wall temperature distribution in heat exchangers.
