摘要：

Let l = (x(nu 1),...,chi(nu q)) be a monomial ideal of a polynomial ring K[x] over a field K and let A be the matrix with column vectors nu(1),...,nu(q). We show that the associated graded ring of I is reduced if A is totally unimodular. Then we express the symbolic Rees algebra of I in terms of Hilbert bases provided that I is square-free. A normality criterion is presented which is adequate for monomial ideals.
