摘要
Smart Grid initiatives proposed by governments and industry organizations have the potential to support carbon mandates/targets. While the options and scope of the changes that might be deployed within the transmission and distribution system to respond to climate change initiatives, is not yet defined they options could include bi-directional power flow, the increased use of distributed variable generation resources, and the implementation of more advanced switching and information technologies.
