摘要
Due to the flammable and explosive property of natural gas, the failure of transmission pipelines carrying natural gas affected by various factors lead threat to people and properties in the vicinity. The dominant hazard is thermal radiation from jet fire. This paper focuses on failure probability of urban gas fuel transmission pipeline, gas release rate and failure consequence according to different degree of heat intensity based on jet fire radiation model. The proposed method for hazard radius may be useful for risk mitigation and evacuation.
