A Comparative Study on In-service Training Satisfaction in Elementary and Secondary Schools between Urban and Rural Teachers in China

摘要
A study was made to analyze the differences of teacher training satisfaction in elementary and secondary schools between urban and rural areas in China. The paper takes X Province of China as an example, and by using various kinds of research methods, such as text analysis, questionnaire and interview, and mathematical statistics method, etc., it aims to explore the causes and countermeasures of teacher training in elementary and secondary schools. The results show that the teacher training satisfaction at or below county level is lower than that above the county level, and the teacher training system has great influence on the formation of the difference. Therefore, teacher training policy system should be supplemented and perfected, specialized training agencies ought to be established and strengthened, and professionalization of training management mechanism should be promoted.
