Study on Influence of Inhabitant Replacement in Historical and Cultural Blocks of Wenming Street in Kunming on City Memory

By setting historical and cultural blocks of Wenming Street in Kunming as the research object, this paper focuses on the problems of city memory loss caused by inhabitant replacement in historical and cultural blocks. By investigating and analyzing the reservation situations of historical memory in Wenming Block, the cognitive differences of different subjects in historical and cultural blocks for the city memory object are discussed. By directing at this problem caused by rapid urban development, this paper proposes some suggestions and strategies, so as to enhance the city memory continuity of historical and cultural blocks under the background where cities develop quickly.
