摘要
The aim of this paper is to analyse the development of the share of people living in households with very low work intensity (NZ indicator) in the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic in the period 2005 - 2016 and the regression analysis of the NZ indicator and selected measurable economic factors. The NZ indicator is defined as the percentage of the population living in households, where the members of working age worked less than 20% of their total work potential during the previous 12 month. In the analysed period, this share was statistically significantly lower in both the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic than in the EU-28. The average level of the indicator in both countries is not significantly different. However, the development of the indicator is different in these countries in the period, as well as the factors influencing its development in both countries, are different. The theory of multivariate non-stationary time series was used as the main tool of analysis.
