Partial reconstruction of quantum states via the Jaynes principle of maximum entropy

We analyze the problem of a partial reconstruction of quantum states of spin systems. We show how to reconstruct spin states when just a restricted set of mean values of the system observables is known from the measurement. This partial reconstruction is performed with the help of the Jaynes principle of maximum entropy.(1).
