摘要：
In detail design of mechanical components, the component requirements and feature related functions must be known prior to feature design. The feature related functions should be obtained from the component requirements. In this paper, the mapping from requirements into functions is considered as a fuzzy relation system. Two mapping problems from different viewpoints are presented. The fuzzy logic methodology is also employed to form the measures of both requirements and feature related functions.
