摘要
RFID technology has been widely used in tracing and monitoring products, especially in supply chain field. Currently, our seed market confronts a problem that many seeds sold are fake and with low quality. The study of situation of seed companies in China shows there exist a large number of companies and most of them are small. Meanwhile many large international seed companies enter China market and make seeds difficult to manage. Therefore, a monitoring and tracing system with complex event processing based on EPC network is proposed to solve the problem. Complex event processing can extract useful information from large amount of data related to seeds. EPC network can make all the participants in the supply chain connected and share information of seeds. The system proposed in the paper offers a solution to monitor and trace seeds and supports the management of seed companies in the market.
