摘要
KY(WO4)(2) : Yb3 + single crystals were grown using the top nucleated floating crystal method. Faces corresponding to the characteristic habit were indexed and the morphology correlated to the published atomic structure was determined. Spectroscopic characterization was performed (absorption and fluorescence) for the two orthogonal polarizations corresponding to the axis of the optical indicatrix for light propagation along the b-axis.
