摘要
The article deals with the ability to manage risks that an enterprise may face when doing business internationally. It informs what you need to know about risks to identify, assess, and manage them. While studying the risks of exporting products, the authors have used economic-statistical, abstract-logical methods, comparative analysis, systemic and institutional approaches. They allow assessing the impact of risks on the export of products, identifying the trend of risk changes and predicting the most probable and dangerous risks in the future. Participants need to competently build a system for managing risks as their structure is constantly changing, depending on the direction of foreign economic activity. According to the research, the authors have identified the main risks that enterprises face in export activities. They have worked out a risk management system for export companies and proposed a risk management matrix, which can be used as an instruction for managing or mitigating risks. The majority of small and medium-sized enterprises enter foreign markets taking into account existing opportunities. They deal with only limited management of associated risks since they have neither the resources nor the necessary experience. This research proposes the main tools that can support companies with limited resources in managing export risks. Success in foreign trade needs hard work. The article shows what tools can help to carry out risk management in foreign markets in order for enterprises to obtain maximum profits from exports at minimum costs.
