Dynamic analysis of frequency control and synchronous control of DC-DC converter consisted of class DE amplifier and class D synchronous rectifier

摘要
A circuit following sudden load fluctuation is demanded in a power supply for information equipment. DC-DC converter consisting of class DE amplifier and class D rectifier is the circuit which can maintain high efficiency in high frequency operation by class E switching. This is the circuit which does not include choke coil. Therefore it is suitable for sudden load fluctuation. Frequency control and the synchronous rectifier control are proposed as the control method of this converter. This paper analyzes control characteristic of these control method. As a result, when phase control angle is zero and there is not a change in switching frequency, there is not an essential difference in both control method. But, when phase control angle changes in case of synchronous rectifier control, dynamic characteristics change.
