摘要
This paper presents the optimum housing shape and method of grounding it to the body ground for EV/HEV application because of suppressing radiation noise from the EV inverter housing. As a result, radiation noise in the FM band was reduced by an average of 15 dB in the FM band by adopting a flatter housing shape for reducing the antenna noise source and by increasing the body capacitance for low impedance. Test results confirmed that radiation noise was suppressed to the same level as close to a cube shape (as an evaluation criteria) while reducing the switching loss by 77% of the latter's level which can bring out an advantage of SiC inverter.
