摘要
With the rapid urbanization of China, the complexity of urban management increased significantly. Aiming to investigate the development of urban management in typical Chinese cities, the authors interviewed several municipal governments and a comparative study reveals that there exist different patterns of urban management in China now. A further analysis indicates some critical factors influenced the forming of different patterns of urban management.
