Influence of annealing process on the structure and properties of a Al-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy

摘要
The influence of annealing time and temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Al - Mg alloys with trace Sc and Zr has been studied. The results show that the optimum values of sigma(0.2), sigma(b) and delta are 308 MPa, 406 MPa and 15%, respectively for cold - rolling and stabilizing treatment at 130 degrees C for 3h. Partial recovery and recrystallization occurred during stabilizing treatment because of the particles Al-3(Sc,Zr) pinning the dislocations and low - angle grain boundaries.
