摘要
In this paper, a 45 degrees-45 degrees-90 degrees triangular shaped Dielectric Resonator Antenna (DRA) is investigated using 3D EM simulator. Square shaped DRA is cut symmetrically to obtain the 45 degrees-45 degrees-90 degrees Triangular DRA (TDRA). Fundamental mode (first resonance) is excited here. Input impedance (Z(in)), S-11 and far-field power patterns are presented. It is found that the 45 degrees-45 degrees-90 degrees TDRA produces a peak in the broadside direction at first resonance.
