摘要
In his study of social network systems, Granovetter [9], made the distinction between strong and weak ties between individuals. We show that these weak ties constitute a well-defined "interior", I, that is part of every network, N. From I, which is an algebraic matroid, one can rigorously define network properties such as "similarity" or "betweenness" whose implementation is scalable.
