摘要：

Computer computation and visualization can be powerful tools for leaching undergraduate electromagnetics. Towards this end, the electronic book Visual Electromagnetics for Mathcad(R) (VisualEM(R)) has been written to capitalize on the extraordinary performance of current mathematics software and personal computers. Here we discuss the motivation for developing such an such an electronic book and give an overview of its content, layout and capabilities.
