摘要
The purpose of present investigation is to obtain knowledge for developments of momentum transfer in the entrance region of a gravity driven liquid film flow. Experimental research of turbulent film flow in the entrance region was performed. A brief description of experimental set-up is presented in the study. The method for measurement of shear stress on outside surface of vertical tube is proposed. The results of experiments are discussed with respect to shear stress variation dependence on initial velocity and Reynolds number of the liquid film. The film flow stabilization length is determined experimentally.
